Larry Akers has extensive experience in network engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Network Engineer at Lutheran Health Network since May 1987. In this role, Larry is responsible for the design and maintenance of wide-area and local networks for hospitals in North East Indiana, focusing on Route/Switch, Security, Wireless, and WAN/LAN. Previously, Larry held the position of Network Engineer, where responsibilities included the installation and maintenance of Cisco Routers, Switches, and various network protocols. Earlier in the career, Larry worked as a Systems Programmer at Golden Rule Insurance, specializing in mainframe OS installation and maintenance. Larry holds an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vincennes University.
