Mark A. Stutrud

Mark Stutrud serves as the CEO of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois since October 2014, following a decade as President and CEO of Lutheran Social Services of Michigan. In these roles, Mark has collaborated with boards of directors and thousands of employees to foster communities of service, providing support and compassion to individuals in need. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Vice President of Children and Family Services at Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, focusing on ensuring safe and stable homes for children. Mark's extensive career also includes various leadership positions in healthcare and mental health services from 1979 to 1998. Mark holds a Master's degree in Child Development and Family Science and a Bachelor's degree in Child and Human Development, both from North Dakota State University.
