Charles Caine has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Charles started their career at Electronic Data Systems as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they worked on Unix-based projects supporting General Motors' engineering efforts. Charles then joined Pencom Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer/Consultant for Ford Motor Company.

Later on, Charles worked at Perot Systems Corporation, starting as a Senior IT Consultant and eventually becoming a Senior Account Manager. During their time at Perot Systems, they oversaw the software development of an airline airport management system and also served as a Technology Planning Advisor for Volkswagen America.

After that, Charles joined Beaumont Services Company as the VP of IS & Support Services. Charles played a crucial role in building and delivering scalable cloud-based facilities enterprise systems, as well as integrating various applications and leading process improvement initiatives.

Following their role at Beaumont, Charles joined Beaumont Health System as a Senior Director of Information Technology. Charles formed and led Beaumont's first Enterprise Data Management team, implemented BI technologies, and developed hospital dashboards. Charles later moved to the Infrastructure team to improve IT service management processes.

Charles then worked at Atos as the CTO of McLaren Health, overseeing outsourced infrastructure teams and leading the EMR stabilization plan.

Most recently, Charles joined Samaritas as the Vice President of Information Technology. Charles was responsible for leading the IT department and establishing IT as an enabler for front line services, implementing ITIL processes, and establishing IT SLAs.

Overall, Charles Caine has a diverse range of experience in IT leadership, project management, and technical roles within the healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

Charles Caine holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in IT Management, which they obtained from Oakland University between 1998 and 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas during 1983 and 1984. In addition to their formal education, Charles also obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Charles achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in February 2021, the CHCIO certification from CHIME in March 2019, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2006.
