Jose Carlos Vazquez Quintero

Jose Carlos Vazquez Quintero is a lighting design expert with extensive experience in architecture and engineering. Currently serving as the Architecture, Lighting Designers & MEP Team Leader at Lutron Electronics since September 2018, Jose leads design initiatives for various sectors including commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. In academia, Jose has held teaching positions at UNAM and Centro since June 2024 and January 2019, respectively, focusing on lighting control specialization. Previous roles include MEP Manager and Acoustic Consultant at Space Mexico, where responsibilities centered on integrating design and execution processes across multiple engineering disciplines. Jose's career began with design and construction roles at Parque de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica and Construcción Electroefectiva VACCE. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Lighting Designer degree from UPC School and a Master's in Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, along with an architectural degree from Universidad de Monterrey.
