Lisa Hu, CPA, MBA has a diverse professional background. From 2007 to 2018, they held various roles in different companies. In 2007, they began their career as an Assurance Audit Intern at EY. Lisa then worked as a School of Accountancy Professor Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri. In 2008, they returned to EY as a Senior Assurance Associate. In 2011, they joined Sigma-Aldrich as a Financial Planning & Reporting - Corporate and Research Business Unit. In 2015, they worked as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Aegion Corporation, and as an Interim CFO / Finance Consulting at CSBio Co. Finally, in 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Lux and Nyx, where they are responsible for product creation, marketing and operations.

Lisa Hu, CPA, MBA obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis. Lisa then obtained their Masters in Accountancy with Graduate Certification in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2008, they obtained their Graduate Certification in Taxation from the University of Missouri and in 2009, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Missouri.
