Sara MacEdo

Sara Macedo has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sara most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Luxair starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Teacher at the University of Luxembourg from March 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they had a role as Senior Manager, R\u00e9viseur d'entreprises, ACCA at EY from September 2014 to October 2022. Sara also has experience in the real estate industry, having worked as an Agent immobilier at Immobili\u00e8re Macedo from July 2005 to September 2014.

Sara Macedo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Strasbourg in 2012. Prior to that, they completed an accelerated training program in Real Estate at the Luxembourg School for Commerce. Sara then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Audit at the University of Luxembourg from 2012 to 2014. In addition, Sara completed a Certificat de Formation Complémentaire des candidats Réviseur d'Entreprises et Expert Comptable at CSSF from 2012 to 2014. Recently, they received ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Accounting, Audit, Business Analysis, and Corporate Finance.
