David O'Riva

David O'Riva is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently, as the Director of Software Engineering at Luxer One since January 2018, David has been instrumental in developing a secure BLE protocol for smart lockers and establishing a comprehensive technical roadmap. Prior to that, David operated O'Riva Consulting, published a cryptographic container library, and had significant programming experience at RocketLife, Genplay Games, Midway Games, and Tengen, among others. With a solid foundation in technologies such as PHP, Java, and C++, David has contributed to notable gaming projects and software implementations throughout a diverse career that began with co-founding Bitmasters, Inc. David's education at San Jose State University further complements a robust professional journey in software development and engineering.
