Daniel Escamilla

Daniel Escamilla has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, specifically in the field of purchasing. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Purchasing at LUXIT Group starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Marelli, including Regional Purchasing Director for Powertrain NAFTA, Automotive Lighting NAFTA, and Magneti Marelli NAFTA. Daniel also worked as a Senior Purchasing Manager for Automotive Lighting Mexico Operations and as a Corporate Commodity Manager for Chemical Plastic Resins at the Magneti Marelli Group. Daniel's career began at Nissan Motor Corporation as a Commodity Buyer for Engine and Metal Stamping components.

Daniel Escamilla has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained an MBA in Management and Operations from Università degli Studi di Torino in Italy from 2009 to 2011. Daniel also earned a Diploma in Total Quality from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City in 2006, as well as a Diploma in Projects and Administration from the same institution in 2005. In terms of their undergraduate education, they completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico City from 1986 to 1991.

Daniel Escamilla also holds a certification in Automotive Industry Global Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Wayne State University, which was obtained in 2017.
