Dr Indumathi Mariappan

Indumathi Mariappan is a Senior Scientist at LV Prasad Eye Institute Hyderabad, where research focuses on the applications of adult and pluripotent stem cells to study eye development, disease, and the development of cell-based therapeutics. Previously, Indumathi worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, investigating the regulation of stem cell quiescence, activation, and self-renewal in a muscle model system. Indumathi holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Molecular Biology from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, obtained in May 2005.
