LWRC International™, LLC was founded to pursue the development of a short-stroke gas-piston operated version of the AR15/M16/M4 family of weapons. Our research and development activities have focused on eliminating the inherent shortcomings in the direct impingement operating system. These efforts have resulted in our family of M6™ short-stroke, gas-piston operated rifles and carbines, which improve on the direct impingement system by operating cleaner, quieter, and with greater accuracy - and they do so with greater reliability and longer service life. LWRCI™ is headquartered in Cambridge, Maryland, utilizing three facilities totaling over 250,000 square feet. Our manufacturing capability includes over fifty state-of-the-art CNC machine centers, laser cutting machines, screw machines, robotic welding, and mil-spec painting.
