Ella G. Franklin

Ella G. Franklin is an experienced educator currently serving as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher at Lycée Français de Chicago since January 2024. Previously, Ella held the position of English Language Teaching Assistant at Ville de Deauville from November 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included planning and teaching English lessons, facilitating cultural exchanges, and providing tailored tutoring for students preparing for the TOEFL. Prior to that, Ella contributed as an English Language Teaching Assistant through the Teaching Assistant Program in France USA from October 2021 to April 2022, where collaboration with primary school teachers established a new role for teaching assistance. Ella also has a background in tutoring, having worked as a Tutor Leader for America Reads*America Counts from September 2018 to May 2021, and served as an ESL Teaching Assistant at Oberlin College from September 2019 to May 2020. Ella G. Franklin earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and Education from Oberlin College in May 2021.
