David Pechoux

David Pechoux is the current Executive Director at Lycée Français de Shanghai. David has over fifteen years of experience in management and human resources.

David began their career in 2005 as a HR Consultant with HR Inc Ltd. David led the first comparative job-to-job salary and benefits survey in the Cambodian Private Sector. David also defined methodology for the survey (KESAR analysis), drafted and administrated the questionnaires, and performed sales calls to sell the study to local and international businesses in Cambodia.

In 2006, David became the General Manager of Monument Books. David was responsible for the overall management of the business, including legal, tax, and financial issues, as well as institutional relationships. David also negotiated and liaised with the Chinese partner, Dargaud local office, and headquarters. In addition, they handled all IP rights issues, registration, and protection.

From 2007 to 2014, David served as the Director of DDP Group. David was responsible for overall management of the company, including strategy, business development, and operations. David also oversaw a team of managers and staff across multiple departments.

In 2014, David became the Country Manager of Dargaud Group Shanghai. David was responsible for the founding and development of the JV, as well as overall management of the business. This included legal, tax, and financial issues, as well as institutional relationships. David also negotiated and liaised with the Chinese partner, Dargaud local office, and headquarters. In addition, they handled all IP rights issues, registration, and protection.

From 2017 to 2019, David served as the General Manager of Crystal Globe Dargaud Culture. David was responsible for overall management of the business, including legal, tax, and financial issues, as well as institutional relationships. David also negotiated and liaised with the Chinese partner, Dargaud local office and headquarters. In addition, they handled all IP rights issues, registration & protection.
