Carolyn Bertozzi

Carolyn Bertozzi is the current Chair at Lycia Therapeutics. Carolyn has also worked as a freelance journalist for The Guardsman and as a Research Associate for Chan Zuckerberg Biohub.

Carolyn has a background in protein sciences and has experience with producing proteins, purifying proteins, and characterizing proteins. Carolyn has also written methods sections for manuscripts and standard operating procedures. Additionally, they have created presentation slides and presented data in meetings and talks.

At Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, they were also responsible for coordinating with the antibody discovery team, rapid response team, and other research groups for cross functional experiment method design, timeline setting, and data acquisition. Additionally, they facilitated in organizing and packaging resources and running PCR for a clinically certified COVID-19 testing laboratory.
