Eric Hoffmann

Eric Hoffmann has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Eric started their career at Marine Corps Recruiting in 1992 as a Musician, Fire Team Leader, and Transportation Assistant, where they successfully managed storage and transportation logistics for a team of musicians and demonstrated leadership skills.

In 2001, Eric joined nCircle - a Tripwire Company, where they held various roles including Solutions Engineer, QA Team Lead/QA Engineer, and QA Manager/SaaS Product Release Manager. During their tenure, they defined QA processes, created functional and regression tests, and established a test lab for performing acceptance tests.

In 2012, Eric moved to CloudPassage as a Sr. Software QA Engineer and later became the Director of QA. Eric cultivated a team of early adopters and implemented automation strategies, reducing deployment time and improving efficiency.

From 2017 to 2019, Eric worked at Tigera, Inc. as a Senior Engineering Manager, Quality Engineering & Operations. Eric successfully developed a DevOps CI/CD culture within the Quality Engineering team and implemented various infrastructure and testing improvements.

Most recently, Eric joined Lyell Immunopharma in 2019 as a Software Engineer, DevSecOps, where they are currently working.

Eric Hoffmann attended the College of Marin from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Microcomputer Programming.
