James Zhao is a Founding Partner at LYFE Capital. He has over 20 years of experience, of which, prior to founding LYFE Capital, he was at Vivo Capital for 9 years as a Managing Partner and built their Vivo China practice. Prior to that he was a Consultant at the Monitor Group in Shanghai. Initially trained in clinical medicine at West China University of Medical Sciences he attained his MBA from Olin school of business from Washington University in St. Louis as well as his master’s of science in molecular biology from Vrijie University Brussels, Belgium.
