Sameer Rohatgi

Sameer Rohatgi is a Venture Partner at LYFE Capital featuring over 20 years of experience across Life Science tools, diagnostics, and implantable devices. Prior to LYFE Capital, Sameer headed international corporate and business development at Illumina where he and his team were responsible for market assessments, M&A, IVD agreements, and direct and indirect investing. He directly oversaw commercialization negotiations in Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. Sameer joined Illumina through the acquisition of Helixis, where he was a Founding Executive Member. Previously, he worked at Agilent in Strategic Planning and Corporate Development for Life Science Chemical Analysis and ultimately Director of Marketing, charged with worldwide in and outbound activities for the genomics portfolio. Sameer received his BSE in biomedical engineering from Duke University; a MS in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University; and an MBA from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Management in Los Angeles.
