Syed D. Ali

Syed D. Ali is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Litigation & Risk at Lyft since January 2025, following a tenure as Senior Counsel in the same department. Prior to joining Lyft, Syed was Counsel at McGuireWoods, providing national counsel for Lyft, where significant litigation victories were achieved. Earlier experience includes a decade at K&L Gates LLP, establishing a strong foundation as a Litigation Associate, where Syed acted as national coordinating counsel for personal injury cases and handled various appeals in state and federal courts. Syed holds a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a BA in Political Science from The University of Akron.
