Tom Takasawa is a software engineer currently at Lyft since April 2020 and also serves as a founding partner at 1010 Ventures since July 2023. Previously, Tom was the CTO and lead developer at Pupster, the first mobile personalized dog care platform, from April 2018 to June 2019, where Tom focused on enhancing user interaction through messaging services and video-based training. An internship at The Hive, LLC in June to August 2017 involved contributing to the development of a deep learning chatbot for an insurance company. Tom holds a degree from Penn State University (2015-2019) and a certificate in technology and innovation from Stanford University (2016) in entrepreneurial studies.
