Gabriel Guedes

Gabriel Guedes has over a decade of experience in various roles across multiple industries. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Market Researcher at Politecnico di Milano and a Researcher at Escola Politécnica da USP, researching the psychological impact of org and processes in mental health professionals. In 2007, they joined Procter & Gamble as a LatAm Business Integration Planning Logistics integration planning team for Latin America, with experience in Brazil and Venezuela. From 2009 to 2021, they worked at Bain & Company as an Associate Partner, focusing on large-scale Transformations for Industrial Goods & Services clients, particularly Supply Chain and Mining. In 2021, they joined AfterWork Ventures as a Fellow, supporting the investment process and advising portfolio companies on strategy, operations, supply chain & logistics, and fundraising. Gabriel also joined Metagrove Ventures as a Venture Partner and Floofers as an Advisory Board Member. Additionally, Gabriel has been a COO & CFO, Advisor, and Co-Founder at Lyka Pet Food since 2017.

Gabriel Guedes obtained a B.Sc. in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP between 2004 and 2009, followed by an M.Sc. in Management, Economics and Production Engineering from Politecnico di Milano between 2007 and 2009. Gabriel also holds certifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD, obtained in December 2021), Google (The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, obtained in March 2020), Stanford University (Machine Learning, obtained in December 2019) and PADI (Advanced Open Water Diver, obtained in 2014).
