Matthieu Lerouxel has a diverse work experience in the design field. Matthieu started their career as a Graphic Designer Intern at Base Design in 2007. Matthieu then completed a Graphic Design internship at URBANIA MEDIA in 2009, where they worked on logo design, infographics, and motion design. In the same year, they joined Moment Factory as a Graphic Designer and worked on various projects, including Elixir, place des Festivals, Quartier des spectacles, Montréal, Sails Of Light, Canada Place, Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, and Kaïla, Granby Zoo. After this, they freelanced as a Graphic Designer from 2011 to 2014, both at matthieulerouxel.com and Altitude-sports.com, where they served as an Art Director and conducted a rebrand of the company. In 2016, they joined Imagination as a Senior Graphic Designer and later became the Telstra Design Lead. During their time at Imagination, they worked on projects until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Freelance Design Director at matthieulerouxel.com. In 2022, they joined Six Black Pens as the Design Group Head, and in 2023, they will be starting as the Senior Product Designer at Lyka.
Matthieu Lerouxel started their education journey in 2002 at Lycée Edgar Faure, where they pursued a Baccalauréat in Literature. Matthieu completed their studies in this field in 2005 with an honorable mention. Following this, Matthieu attended Lycée Louis Pasteur from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication with a specialization in Graphic Design & Publishing.
