Truman Biro began their career in 2013 as a Business Analyst Intern at A.T. Kearney. In 2014, they interned for the Appeals Chamber at the International Criminal Court under Judge Kuenyehia. In 2015, they became a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. In 2019, they were a Fellow at Startmate, a 3 month program that immersed him in the startup world. Truman also worked as a Software Engineer and Product Manager at NEXL LTS, a company that is reimagining how law firms can work together. In 2020, they were a Fellow at AfterWork Ventures and also worked as General Counsel at Independent Living Specialists. In 2021, they became an Associate at The Fund, a first-check venture fund and founder community. Finally, in 2022, they began their current role as a Product Manager at Lyka, a company that delivers fresh, human-grade meals as a subscription service to dogs across Australia.
Truman Biro's education history includes a Master of Liberal Arts (Software Engineering) from Harvard Extension School, obtained in November 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from McGill University in 2014, and a Combined LL.B (Hons) and B.Commerce (with Distinction) from UNSW between 2009 and 2014. Truman also holds certifications from Harvard Extension School, including Dean's List for Academic Achievement and a Graduate Certificate in Data Science, both obtained in November 2022.
