Ruoyang Zhang

Ruoyang Zhang started their work experience as a Summer Research Intern at CICC in July 2012. In May 2012, they worked as the Creative Director for the Sitara* Charity Fashion Show. From July 2013 to August 2013, they worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst at BNP Paribas. In June 2016, they briefly worked as the Asia & China Business Development Manager at HK Corp, where they were responsible for international expansion strategies and acquisition of clients. From July 2016 to January 2017, Ruoyang worked as a Data Analyst at ESV Digital. In February 2017 to August 2017, they worked as an Analyst at Voluntas Advisory. From April 2018 to August 2018, they worked as a Data Scientist at the BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking. Starting from September 2019 to December 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist & Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Currently, they work as a Senior Data Scientist at Lynceus since January 2022.

Ruoyang Zhang's education history begins in 2008 when they attended King's School, Bruton and obtained A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Geography. In 2010, Ruoyang moved on to the University of St Andrews, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2014. Next, Ruoyang pursued further education at HEC Paris from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management. Concurrently, from 2017 to 2019, Ruoyang attended École Polytechnique and received a Master of Science degree in Data Science for Business. Additionally, in October 2019, Ruoyang completed several certifications in the field of technology from Amazon Web Services (AWS). They achieved certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA), AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA), AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate.
