Renae Sloan

Renae Sloan is an experienced music educator and administrator, currently serving as High School Assistant Principal and Choral Director at Lynden Christian Schools since August 2018. Previously, Renae held the position of 1-12th Grade Music Director at Mount Vernon Christian School from August 2014 to July 2017, where leadership encompassed conducting and overseeing the music program. Renae also served as 5-12th Grade Music Director at Sunnyside Christian School from August 2010 to July 2014, teaching choir and band while founding a high school honors choir. Additional experience includes working as Worship Director at First Baptist Church of Sunnyside, WA, from January 2012 to June 2014. Renae holds a Master’s degree in Music Teacher Education from Central Washington University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Teacher Education from Trinity Christian College (2005-2009).
