Giovanni Traverso

Co-Founder & Board Member at Lyndra Therapeutics

Giovanni Traverso is a visiting scientist at the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering. Giovanni is also a co-founder of Lyndra Therapeutics, a startup company that is developing a long-acting oral contraceptive. Prior to joining Lyndra, Giovanni was a research affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they focused on gastrointestinal-based drug delivery. Giovanni has also worked as an instructor in medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Giovanni Traverso is a medical doctor who has a PhD in Early Detection of Colon Cancer from The Johns Hopkins University. Giovanni also has a MB (Bachelor of Medicine) and BChir (Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Cambridge.
