Matthew Long has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in finance and accounting. Matthew most recently served as the Head of Finance at Lynemouth Power Ltd. starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the European Financial Controller at Formica Group Europe from September 2020 to August 2022. From June 2016 to September 2020, Matthew held the position of Finance and Projects Manager at Elanders UK. Matthew also has experience as a Financial Controller at Cepac Limited from July 2014 to June 2016, Financial Controller at Simpson Group from January 2010 to June 2014, and Accountant at Joseph Miller & Co from August 2005 to December 2009. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated their ability to manage financial control, prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide valuable insights to both site and group management teams.
Matthew Long attended Silverdale Secondary School from 1995 to 2002. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University from 2002 to 2005.
