Louise Suhr Mertins

Louise Suhr Mertins has extensive experience in various roles within HR, communication, digitalization, and project management. Louise currently holds the position of Head of Strategy, HR, Communication & Digitalisation at Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune since November 2020. Previously, they worked as the Head of HR Nordic - HRBP & Development + Change & Digitalisation at Flügger group A/S from April 2017 to November 2020. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at DSB, including Program Manager, HR Development, Head of Digital Sales Channels, E-commerce, and Digital Project Manager. Before their tenure at DSB, they worked as a Digital Project Manager, E-commerce at Falck and as a Project Manager, Communication and Marketing at RISK Int. Forsikringsmægler. Louise also gained experience as a Fitness and Dance Instructor at Studiet and as a Student Assistant at Lærerstandens Brandforsikring. Additionally, they completed internships at Børnehjælpsdagen, Falck Securitas A/S, and worked as an Assistant in Headoffice at Netto.

Louise Suhr Mertins completed their education in a chronological order. Louise started their education in 1996 at Greve Gymnasium, where they received their Student degree with a focus on Mathematics in 1999. Louise then pursued a degree in Rhetoric and Communication at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2000 to 2006, obtaining their Cand.mag. degree. In 2019, they attended KEA and completed a program called Ledelse i praksis, focusing on leadership. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained a certification in DiSC from Thomas International.
