Marc Lamothe has a diverse work experience in engineering and research roles. Marc began their career as an electronics engineer at Institut FEMTO-ST from October 2010 to December 2014. Marc then worked as an Embedded Engineer at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from July 2015 to December 2015. Following this, they joined the University of Central Florida as a Postdoctoral Researcher from January 2016 to September 2016. Marc later moved on to Aviana Molecular Technologies, LLC, where they worked as a Senior Electronic Engineer from October 2016 to October 2018. From March 2019 to February 2021, Marc served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Central Florida. Marc then took up the position of Chief Engineer at Athena-Tek from February 2021 to April 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Software Defined Radio Engineer at Lynk starting from April 2023 onwards.

Marc Lamothe completed their education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Université de Franche-Comté. Marc earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from 2005 to 2008. Marc then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2010 to 2014.
