Scott Rayder has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Scott currently serves as the President of Lynker, a company that delivers innovative solutions for global environmental security and economic prosperity. Scott also works as an Independent Board Member at Blue Innovations Group. In the past, they have held roles such as Chair of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System Federal Advisory Committee and Vice President at Leidos. Scott has also worked as the Executive Director of the Alabama Water Institute at the University of Alabama and as a Senior Advisor to the President at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research. Additionally, they have served on the Board of Directors for the Marine Conservation Institute and as the Director of Civil Business Development at Exelis. Scott has also held positions in other organizations such as the Wilson Center and the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Association.
Scott Rayder attended Hamilton College from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Geology and Government. Scott then pursued a Master's in Public Administration with a focus on Science and Technology Policy at Syracuse University - Maxwell School from 1991 to 1992. In 2004, they briefly attended the Federal Executive Institute to become SES Certified in Leadership for a Democratic Society.
