Qi Shi

Qi Shi is an experienced coastal scientist and modeler currently employed at Lynker since August 2022. Prior to this role, Qi Shi served as a scientific programmer and analyst at I. M. Systems Group Inc. from March 2020 to August 2022, and as a postdoctoral scholar at Michigan Technological University from May 2018 to March 2020, where research focused on investigating the effects of nonbreaking waves on tropical cyclone intensity forecasts and developing ocean-atmosphere-ice coupled models. Qi Shi's academic background includes a PhD and a master's degree in Meteorology, both obtained from Florida State University, where Qi Shi also worked as a research assistant and guest lecturer in hydrodynamic modeling.
