Tom Hegblom Ph.d., Lpcc, Ladc

Tom Hegblom is an experienced educator and mental health professional currently serving as Resident Faculty at the University of Minnesota, where Tom teaches and advises students in graduate programs focused on Integrated Behavioral Health and Addiction Counseling. In addition to this role, Tom is an Adjunct Faculty member at Yorkville University and a Contributing Faculty member at Walden University, instructing courses in counseling and psychotherapy. Tom also provides counseling services as a Mental Health Professional at LynLake Centers for WellBeing, where supervision of graduate students during their internships is part of the responsibilities. Previously, Tom held multiple roles, including Associate Professor and Training Director at Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, and served as Legislative and Professional Development Chair for the Minnesota Counseling Association. Tom holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University, a Master's in Addiction and Mental Health Counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School, and a Bachelor's degree in Youth Studies and Spanish from the University of Minnesota.
