Carlos Blanco

Carlos Blanco was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lynn Health Science Institute (LHSI) in November 2020. In 1990 Blanco began his research career at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center conducting neurocognitive research trials. Blanco joined LHSI in 2002 and quickly ascended to several key leadership roles within the organization. As VP of Operations, he was responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of all LHSI clinical trial sites. During his tenure, LHSI has experienced exceptional growth adding multiple sites across the region and becoming one of the premier clinical trials research site networks in the United States. Blanco is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and longtime resident of Norman, Oklahoma. He is active in the community, including serving on the Central Oklahoma Red Cross Board of Directors and OU’s Price College of Business Healthcare Board of Advisors.
