Nanastasia Welnick

Nanastasia Welnick has over 10 years of work experience in the clinical research field. Nanastasia currently works as the Director of Clinical Trials at Lynn Institute since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Children's Hospital Colorado for 10 years, starting as a Clinical Research Coordinator and eventually becoming a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator. At Children's Hospital Colorado, they managed the start-up, maintenance, and close-out of Phase II-III clinical trials, specifically focusing on medically complex patients with fragile X and autism. Nanastasia played a key role in budget negotiations, authored study documents, and led trainings for clinicians and coordinators. Nanastasia also aided in building the fragile X research program and establishing a multi-institutional professional interest group. Before that, they worked as a Transfusion Service Assistant at Palmetto Health Baptist and as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina Biochemistry Lab.

Nanastasia Welnick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in the period of 2008-2012.
