Jim Badrak

Jim Badrak has a diverse work experience in the performing arts industry. Jim has held various roles such as Director of Performing Arts Operations at Lynn University and President/Owner of MT Production Group, where they served as a producer/consultant for theatrical, industrial, and concert events. Jim has also held positions as Vice President of Production and Operations at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Director of Production at Carnegie Hall. Jim has further experience as a guest lecturer, adjunct professor, instructor, and workshop coordinator at various educational institutions. Jim has worked on Broadway, national, and international tours, serving roles such as Production Manager and Associate Production Manager. Jim has also worked as a consultant for labor analysis, research, and production and technical consultation for several organizations in the performing arts industry.

Jim Badrak's education history is as follows:

- From 1982 to 1985, they attended the University of Miami and obtained a B.M. in Musical Theatre / Voice.

- Jim pursued Orchestral Conducting / Evening Division at The Juilliard School.

- In 1979 and 1980, they studied Trumpet Performance / Music Education at Texas State University.

- In 2021, they enrolled in the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certification in Public Health Policies and Programs.

Additionally, Jim Badrak holds various certifications related to COVID-19 awareness, workplace response and protection, event safety, leadership, guest services, and production compliance. Jim is also a professional member of the Event Safety Alliance and has received training in topics such as active shooter/workplace violence/cybersecurity and behavioral-based surveillance for detecting hostile violence.
