Despina Xanthopoulou has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Despina started their career in 2000 as an Investment Consultant at Lindström & Partners Investment Consulting, where they provided asset management advisory services to major institutional investors in Sweden. Despina then worked as a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Wahlstedt Sageryd Financial Services, focusing on quantitative financial analysis and in-depth research on mutual funds and other investment alternatives. In 2005, Despina joined Länsförsäkringar as a Fund Specialist, where they specialized in mutual fund regulations and managed the setup, merger, and closure of funds. Despina later became a Senior Manager Selection Analyst, responsible for manager research and selection, fee negotiations, and monitoring mandates. Since 2015, Despina has been the Director of Business Development and Sustainability at Lynx Asset Management, where they play a key role in new business development and managing relationships with various third-party distribution channels.
Despina Xanthopoulou completed their Masters of Science in Business Administration and Economics with a specialization in Finance at Stockholm University from 1996 to 2000.
