Martina Pola has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and positions. Martina currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Lynx Asset Management, a role they started in August 2023. Prior to this, Martina worked at BlackRock as an Associate Relationship Manager in Client Service from May 2021 to August 2023. Martina also has experience as a Trader at Lynx Asset Management from August 2015 to May 2021. In addition to their financial background, Martina has a background in the healthcare and research fields. Martina worked as a Business Development professional at OmniCyte, where they spearheaded various initiatives and conducted research in the medical field. Martina also completed their Master's of Science Dissertation at Columbia University Medical Center, focusing on mitochondria and actin cytoskeleton interactions in budding yeast. Martina has held previous roles as a consultant, receptionist, and tennis club manager.
Martina Pola pursued their education between 2008 and 2013 at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in the field of Molecular Biotechnology. In 2012, Martina had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at North Carolina State University. Martina focused on the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology during their brief time there.
