Quantitative Researcher at Lynx Asset Management

Sabina Syed is a quantitative researcher at Lynx Asset Management, starting in September 2023, following a master thesis role at Elekta, where the thesis on deep learning-based regularizers resulted in a pending patent application. Previous experience includes a visiting data scientist position at BCG GAMMA, focusing on optimization models in the energy sector, and a data analyst role at Modulai, where analysis and modeling in Python were conducted for machine learning projects. Additionally, Sabina served as a teaching assistant in mathematics and statistics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and held IT leadership at Malvina KTH, enhancing technical solutions for a network of female and non-binary students. Early career internships at COMSOL, Alfa Laval, and The Boston Consulting Group provided exposure to engineering and business development. Sabina holds a Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics and an Engineering Physics degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by early academic achievements in natural sciences.
