Allen Bey

Allen Bey is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as President and CEO of Lynx Energy since August 2019, having previously held the position of President at Lynx Energy ULC. Allen co-founded Inceptor Energy Inc., where as CEO from January 2017 to August 2019, the focus was on converting lower-value natural resources into premium products through environmentally responsible technologies. Prior to that, as CEO of Rock Energy Inc. from 2004 to 2016, Allen grew production significantly before its sale for $110 million. Allen also founded Avid Oil and Gas, which was sold to Husky Energy for $160 million, and held various roles at Norcen Energy Resources Limited from 1982 to 1995. Allen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is an accredited member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
