James Deutch has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. James started their career at Phoenix Technologies, Ltd. as a Principal Engineer and worked there for ten years. During their time there, they served as the primary technical contact for customers and industry partners and provided feedback on customer requests and market trends.

After leaving Phoenix Technologies, Ltd., James worked at E-Color as a Systems Architect. James co-authored multiple patents and designed and implemented the company's flagship product.

James later joined Esmertec as a Sr. Field Applications Engineer, where they worked with customers in the wireless handset market and presented product plans and technical trends.

James then moved to Mentor Graphics Corporation, where they served as a Sr. Field Applications Engineer, specializing in embedded systems. Next, James worked at Intellico, LLC as a Consultant, focusing on embedded software, firmware, and enterprise software development. James developed an Android GPS mapping application and a J2EE-based data collection service.

Before their current position, James worked at Room 5 as a Software Engineer, Team Lead. James worked on mobile, embedded, and desktop software systems and served as a software consultant and team lead.

Currently, James is a Principal Field Applications Engineer at Lynx Software Technologies, where they are responsible for supporting customers and providing technical expertise.

James Deutch graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. James pursued their education at this institution from 1985 to 1988.
