Manager, Enterprise Network Operations at Lynxnet

Steven Horneman has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1999 as a Systems Integrator, Maintainer, and Administrator for the U.S. Army Intelligence. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing communications equipment, as well as integrating MI computers and networks. From 2014 to 2020, Steven held various positions in different companies. At NCI, Inc., they worked as a Telecommunication Engineer II, where they used their specialist knowledge to design and deliver solutions, providing technical guidance and managing projects. Steven also worked as a Remote Support Technician at Support.com and as a Specialty Engineer at Harris Corporation, where they were responsible for tasks such as software configuration management and instructional systems design. Steven also gained experience as a Technical Support Analyst at ISYS Technologies, maintaining multi-user computer systems and interacting with users. Currently, they are a Manager at Lynxnet, where they oversee Enterprise Network Operations. Their responsibilities include network configuration, telecommunications support, and managing the maintenance of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).

Steven Horneman has a strong educational background in information technology and management. Steven began their education in 1995 by obtaining a high school diploma from Rockledge High School.

In 1999, they joined the U.S. Army and completed two certifications in different fields of study: MOS 35T and MOS 33W.

Steven then pursued further education and attended the National Cryptologic School from 2000 to 2006, where they earned multiple certifications in information technology.

Continuing their education, they enrolled in the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology and Systems Security.

In 2015, they attended the University of Phoenix again, this time earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Operations from 2015 to 2017.

Steven furthered their education at Strayer University from 2017 to 2019, where they achieved a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems/IT Management.

Additionally, Steven has obtained several certifications in the field of information technology. These include CCNA: Routing & Switching and CCNET: Interconnecting Networking Devices from Cisco in 2017, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, and MCSE: Server Infrastructure from Microsoft in 2016, and Security+ from CompTIA in 2015.
