Janet Lyon

Janet Lyon serves as the Internal Controls Manager at Lyon Shipyard, Inc. since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in various roles within the same shipyard from 2013 to 2019. Previously, Janet worked at Paymerang as a Sales Development Representative, earning a promotion to Team Lead and receiving the Paymerang Rising Star Award. A brief internship at Jefferson Lab focused on technology transfer marketing, with prior internships honing skills in financial analysis and laboratory procedures. Janet holds a Master of Maritime Business Management from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a Bachelor’s degree in United States National Security and Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University.
