Amit Sharma

Amit Sharma is an experienced project manager with a strong background in engineering and project management across various industries. Currently serving as Project Manager for Global Projects at LyondellBasell since June 2023, Amit provides support for manufacturing sites and leads projects in the EU and worldwide. Previously, at BASF from August 2018 to June 2023, Amit managed large capital projects in the Asia Pacific region, leading cross-functional teams to establish new manufacturing plants and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Amit also held roles at United Phosphorus Ltd as Deputy General Manager for Global Projects, Engineering Manager at Watanmal Group, and was involved in production and engineering at Reckitt Benckiser, among other positions. Amit holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and completed an Executive Education Program in Project Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
