Anders Glad

Anders Glad is a Control Systems Engineer at LyondellBasell, having previously served as an Associate Polymers Production Engineer, focusing on high-density polyethylene production. Prior experience includes roles as a Strategic Projects & Analysis Co-op and a Financial Risk Management Co-op, where Anders designed Power BI dashboards to analyze feedstock hedging benefits and optimize working capital. An internship in Global Engineering and Turnarounds resulted in automating polymer metrics data pipelines, earning a performance award for contributions. Additional experience includes a Renewables Engineering Co-op at Valero Energy Corporation, a teaching assistantship at Iowa State University, an HSE internship at American Packaging Corporation, and early landscaping work at The Lodge of Ashworth. Anders holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Iowa State University.
