Andreas Neumann

Andreas Neumann has an extensive work experience in the polyolefin industry. Andreas started their career in 1999 as a Researcher at Montell Poliolefine Italia. From 2000 to 2016, they worked at Basell Poliolefine Italia and held various roles including Scientist, Coordinator, and Head of Product Development. In 2008, they joined Basell Polyolefine GmbH as a Technology Manager. From 2011 to 2022, they worked at Basell Poliolefine Italia and HMC Polymers Company Limited, holding leadership positions in product development, innovation, and strategy. Currently, they work as the Technical Director of Business Development Pyroil & Gasification at Basell Polyolefine GmbH.

Andreas Neumann earned a Diploma in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University in 1990. Andreas then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the same university between 1996 and 1999. In 1995, they were a Research Scholar at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in Macromolecular Science. As an Erasmus Scholar, they briefly attended the University of York in 1994, studying Chemistry.
