Joseph Alvarado

Joseph Alvarado, MBA, currently serves as Operations Manager at LyondellBasell, where leadership is provided to a diverse team in daily production operations and a culture of safety performance is promoted. Prior roles at LyondellBasell include Reliability Manager, IEA Team Lead, I&E Project Engineer, and Instrumentation Engineer, focusing on maintenance, reliability improvements, and project management in manufacturing settings. Joseph’s earlier experience includes serving as a Control Systems Engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions and as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Jacobs Technology, along with military service in the United States Marine Corps in supply chain management and avionics. Joseph holds an MBA in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Houston and a BSET in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Houston-Downtown.
