Kees van Gils

Kees van Gils is a seasoned professional in process safety management with extensive experience in the chemical industry. Currently serving as the Loss Prevention / Process Safety Manager at Lyondell Bassell NV since January 2019, Kees previously worked as a Regulatory Specialist focusing on process safety at Chemours Netherlands. Kees held various roles at DuPont de Nemours, including Process Safety Management Consultant and Coordinator, along with IT specialist and Project Engineer positions at DuPont Performance Elastomers. Kees began a career at DuPont as a Packaging Specialist and Process Engineer. Kees holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, completed in 1990, and graduated from RSG Willem 2 with a Gymnasium diploma in 1984.
