Michael Costa

Michael Costa is an experienced mechanical reliability engineer currently serving as a Regional Mechanical Reliability Engineer at LyondellBasell since May 2018. In this novel role, responsibilities include bridging the gap between the Lake Charles, LA, and Bayport, TX Spheripol plants by sharing maintenance and reliability best practices and providing technical support. Previously, Michael worked as a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, focusing on long-term equipment strategy and asset management at the Bayport Polymers Plant. Earlier experience includes roles at Solvay in various reliability engineering capacities, as well as internships at Albemarle, where initial exposure to project management and maintenance engineering was gained. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
