Rob Rutjes

Rob Rutjes is an experienced environmental management professional, currently serving as Senior Manager for Environmental Issues at LyondellBasell since February 2013. In this role, Rob develops and oversees Operational Excellence environmental management systems, compliance programs, and governance processes. Prior experience includes strategic consulting in sustainability and environmental compliance at Milieuadvies, leadership roles in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management across Europe at Brady Corporation and Johnson Controls, and managerial positions at Royal Haskoning, Environ Netherlands, Tauw, and Arcadis. Rob holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Greenwich and has extensive expertise in implementing programs that ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws.
