Ron Echols

Ron Echols has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Ron currently works as the Senior Global Director of Human Resources at LyondellBasell since January 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at BP, starting as a Senior Human Resources Advisor in July 2005 and progressing to Human Resources Operations Manager, Human Resources Shared Services Manager, and ultimately Head of HR Systems and People Analytics (BPX). Before their time at BP, they served as the VP Training & Organizational Development at Family Christian Stores from January 2003 to June 2005. Earlier in their career, Ron worked as the Corporate Director of Org Capability, Training and Development at Jack in the Box from March 2000 to May 2003 and as the VP of Human Resources at Preference Technologies, Inc. from November 1997 to January 2000.

Ron Echols has studied Human Resources Management and Services at Trinity University, Communication and Media Studies at Southern New Hampshire University, and Business Administration and Management at the University of Nevada, Reno. Ron has also obtained the certification of SPHR from the SHRM.
