Samantha Hammons

Samantha Hammons has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Samantha started their career at Hulsey, Harwood & Sheridan, LLC as a Staff Accountant, where they gained experience in tax, consulting, and accounting services. Samantha then moved on to Emerson, where they worked as a Corporate Accountant II and later as a Senior Corporate Accountant, focusing on the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages. Samantha also streamlined the preparation process using data linking and SmartView. After that, Samantha joined C&J Energy Services as a Senior Accountant, handling internal reporting tasks and ensuring the integrity of financials. Currently, they are employed at LyondellBasell as a Senior Lead Accountant, responsible for various accounting tasks related to financial instruments, hedging, internal reporting, and consolidations. Samantha has experience in completing month, quarter, and annual accounting entries, preparing financial statements, and analyzing balance sheets. Samantha also contributed to the implementation of new reporting software. Overall, they have demonstrated strong accounting and financial reporting skills throughout their career.

Samantha Hammons attended Louisiana Tech University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2008.
