Stephen Hodgson

Stephen Hodgson is a Principal Engineer in Power Electronics at LYRA ELECTRONICS LIMITED since October 2019, specializing in the simulation, design, testing, and debugging of power converters ranging from 2W to 100kW, with a focus on silicon, SiC, and GaN technologies. Previous experience includes roles as a Power Electronics Engineer at SAIETTA GROUP, where Stephen completed the design of a 30kW DC motor controller, and as a Power Electronics Engineer at Litron Lasers Ltd., where Stephen designed and tested high-power laser drivers. Other positions held include Hybrids Package Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, Engineer at Cambridge Consultants, and Engineering Intern at LMC Ltd. Stephen Hodgson holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2012.
